It is large, measure 29 in diameter, and has retained its very vivid colors. Date of origin is unknown since there is very little information I could find on Google. My guess is sometime in the 1960s and it was manufactured by Press Sign Co. It appears that is was produced by Dads Root Beer out of Chicago, IL. The sign is in very good condition overall, having some surface rust, some scratches and light wear in areas(see photos). Here is a great piece that you do not see everyday! There is the same wording on both sides of the sign, with OMC Evinrude and Johnson in the center. Here is a great sign to add to the collection, the piece has some paint wear, and surface scratchs on both sides, but still a nice sign for display. I do have both sides pictured with the first 3 of side 1 and the last two of side two. The dimensions of the sign are about 18 inches wide and 24 inches tall. In extra large size, this is the iconic mobile gas Pegasus horse! This flying horse is double sided! Marked with T-53 on both of its sides. Since this piece is double-sided it can be displayed in either direction or mounted onto a flange. Awesome piece in really nice used condition – Displays really well! Solid thick metal with nice layering /shelving. This sign shows minor signs of use and age. Some rust and chipping around the mounting holes and edges. Unique graphic content with vibrant colors, hard to find in this great of condition! The signs have age on them and will show signs of wear. Measures approximately: From the tip of the wing to the very front foot measures 29 inches. From the tip of the backflip to the tip of the nose measures 22 1/2 inches. Weights approximately: 6 LBS. Please note that you are purchasing a USED item, it is possible you will see signs of rust or minor chipping of the porcelain around the edges.
