Original as found as is colorful condition. Backside support frame has both original and newer bottom wood framing. LARGE SCARCE NOS: Vintage c1940 Nichol Kola 5c Soda Pop Gas Station Metal Sign. Super large and almost like new!! Rare vintage Nichol Kola – America’s Taste Sensation – 5 cents! . Measures 14″ x 14½” Vintage 1930’s Large tin. Nichol Kola was named after its original owner, Harry R. He started his company in Baltimore in the early 1900’s and came up with Nichol Kola in the 1930’s. It’s not a nickel, yet it is still “America’s taste Sensation”. Nichol Kola was bought by Coca-Cola in the early 1950s and phased out. Nichol Kola has been brought back to life for a new generation of soda pop enthusiasts and is currently bottled by Orca Beverage Works at their “retro soda facility” in Mukilteo, Washington.
