FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A VINTAGE “MICHELIN TIRES BIBENDUM MAN PLAYING THE DRUMS ” DIE-CUT 12″ BY 11.5″ BAKED METAL GASOLINE & OIL ADVERTISING SIGN. THIS SIGN HAS FANTASTIC GRAPHICS OF THE VERY RARE & SELDOM SEEN MICHELIN BIBENDUM MAN PLAYING BOTH A DRUM AND A CYMBAL. THIS ALMOST LOOKS 3 DIMENSIONAL WHEN HUNG UP ON THE WALL & HAS A REALLY AWESOME DIE-CUT SHAPE TO IT WITH AWESOME MICHELIN TIRE MAN GRAPHICS. THIS SIGN WAS FOUND IN A LARGE ADVERTISING COLLECTION. THIS SIGN MEASURE 12″ BY 11.5″ AND WEIGHTS AROUND 2 POUNDS, 7 OUNCES AND IS MADE OF BAKED METAL. Please do your own research as vintage does not necessarily mean original. Antique Vintage Original BAXTER’S DRUM 5 Cent Cigar Advertising Metal SignOLD

This is not a repop sign. This sign measures 9.5 x 13.5 and is in pretty good used condition for its age. My research indicates that this sign is from the 1940s. The sign itself is tin and the colors still look great. Most recently, this sign has been hanging indoors. As you will see in the pics you can see wear around the corner holes. There are some minor dents which are visible in the pics. There are a couple of areas along the edges where you can see some paint that is not original to the sign. This is most likely from a wall being painted while the sign was still hanging on the area being painted. Ive included close up pics of the front, back, and corners of the sign so that you can evaluate the current condition and verify that this is an original item. Please do not hesitate to message me with questions about the sign or with requests for additional pics. This would make a great present for Fathers Day!
