Rare Early 20th C Alfred Peats Prize Wall Paper Porcelain Metal Advertising Sign

RARE EARLY 20TH CENTURY ALFRED PEATS PRIZE WALL PAPER ANTIQUE BAKED CERAMIC PORCELAIN STEEL, METAL ADVERTISING SIGN, with PRE- DRILLED HOLES ALONG OUTSIDE MARGINS for WALL MOUNTING/ HANGING. [New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston]. Early 20th century Ame ri can antique early decorating supply advertising & porcelain ceramic metal home decorating advertising signs. 17″ Width x 14″ Height. For sale is this very scarce and very cool early 20th century Ame ri can antique baked porcelain ceramic steel metal wall paper and home/office decorating advertising sign, produced by Alfred Peats Prize Wall Paper Agency, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Boston. It has pre-drilled wall hanging/mounting holes along its perimeter and it’s largely here, due to the concussive force of metal fasteners affixing the porcelain sign to a wall, where damage to the surface of the sign is primarily located. The porcelain ceramic enamel loss is minimal and the interior field of the sign has only some minor abrasions/scuffs and a single small area of enamel loss on the lower right quarter of its front. The back of the sign has smooth baked porcelain ceramic surfaces with more visible oxidation, as moisture would have been caught between its surface and the wall it was mounted on. It looks to have been mounted indoors, as the sign is relatively unscathed. It’s now nearly 100 years old and counting. Its facia is still glossy and its rich colors remain nearly undiminished in overall saturation and intensity. The sign measures 17″ in width by 14″ in height. Great inverted cobalt blue four-leaf clover design motif. What’s on your walls looking back at you? Good to Very Good overall antique condition. Vintage Rare Fort Worth Texas Star Telegram News Paper Advert Metal Sign 12X6

Here is a great old original sign. The front of the sign has the advertising wording of “Fort Worth Star Telegram” in larger black letting. In the lower right and left corners there are the Daily 5 Cent price and Sunday 20 cent price. On the back lip of the sign there is the smaller fine print wording of Scicto Sign Co, Kenton O. Here is a great sign to add to the collection, the sign has some minor corner bends, and minor paint ware, but overall a nice sign for its age. It measures 5.5 inches tall and 12.75 inches wide. This would be a great decor piece for your beer man cave. Here’s a great piece of Coca Cola Advertising – this great piece of Coca Cola Memorabilia is an official released piece that is an absolute work of art. This special version is the Paper Boy bicycle version which is a very limited piece. This bike is modeled after the full size world famous 40s – 50’s futuristic Bowden Spacelander bicycle. This bike was so ahead of its time to include real working head and tail lights, electric horn, generator and styling that would make any young boy the hit on his block! The Coca Cola company authorized this die-cast model to promote their drink products. This great “SpriteBoy” bicycle is “all-metal” construction and the wheels turn, pedals move the rear tire, and it even steers when you turn the handlebars. The seat has actual metal springs that work. The chrome and Coca Cola Red paint on this model is absolutely flawless in depth and color and would accent anyone’s cola collection. These Bicycles were intended to be built in the thousands, as stated on the box, however I’m told by die-cast experts that only hundreds were released and therefore have become very collectable with the value increasing year by year. This bike include the original box and packing and measures; 13.5″ x 8.75″. This item has never been played with or ever been on display and remains in dead mint condition.
