Very nice unrestored 100% original Alabama booster license plate. National Champs – 1961, 1964, 1965, 1973. This booster was intended to be placed on the front of a vehicle to complement the officially issued rear plate. Completely straight and flat with excellent original paint as seen in the photos. Our reccomended Treatment for Mild Steel that anyone can carry out at home, is to polish the steel with a coating of Bees-wax, This will last a long time and adds a great patina to your steel. Another treatments include – Galvanizing, Powder Coating, Clear Coating and the use of any good Automotive Spray Paint. Please note: Steel is formed in a process using intense heat, this can leave grain like marks in the steels structure, like wood no two pieces of steel are ever the same and as such will not always look like the pictures in the description. E professionally spray paint our items in house by hand, we use high quality vinyl matt paints from leading brands to prime and undercoat all parts prior to applying the durable (wipeable) topcoat, with fine sanding in-between coats, we aim to achieve the best flat and smooth finish possible, however you should expect variation in both colour and wood grain texture. Our motor vehicle plaques have a size that varies based on the specific design, however they all have a maximum width and/or height of 460 to 660mm (46 – 66cm approximately) and this based on whichever size comes first for a given design, the size of this design is given below measured from its widest points. 588 x 460mm (58 x 46cm approximately). These plaques are designed using multiple layers of wood to make up the full 3d effect. To prevent and ensure no damage while in transit to you, we package items very meticulously using bubble wrap, foam, cardboard and boxes, all items are also fully insured for their full value and protection against loss or damage. FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A VINTAGE “JAGUAR CARS SERVICE WITH LEAPING JAGUAR CAT GRAPHICS” SHIELD SHAPED 6″ BY 3.5″ THICK (OVER 4 OUNCES) PORCELAIN METAL GASOLINE & OIL DOOR PUSH PLATE ADVERTISING SIGN. THIS SIGN HAS FANTASTIC GRAPHICS OF THE VERY NEAT AND SELDOM SEEN LEAPING JAGUAR LOGO AND IS IN THE SHAPE OF A SHIELD. I REALLY LIKE THE WRENCH ON THE BOTTOM AND THE NEAT AQUA COKOR OF THIS ONE OF THE DOMED HEAVY PORCELAIN. THIS WAS BELIEVED TO BE A DOOR PUSH PLATE SIGN AND HAS GREAT GRAPHICS AND HAS A DOMED SHAPE TO IT. THIS SIGN DOES SHOW VERY LIGHT WEAR & USE, BUT DISPLAYS VERY WELL. THIS SIGN MEASURE 6″ BY 3.5″ AND IS VERY HEAVY FOR ITS SIZE WEIGHTING OVER 4 OUNCES AND IS MADE OF THICK DOMED PORCELAIN METAL. THIS SIGN IS VERY HEAVY AND MADE OF THICK PORCELAIN NOT CHEAP TIN OR THIN METAL. Please do your own research as vintage does not necessarily mean original. Note: I was left with a large advertising collection along with some that I have collected over the years & I also attend high end estate sales in the area.
