Texaco advertising thermometer, Nice piece of oil and gas petroliana. Displays really well, looks GREAT on the wall! Solid thick metal with nice shelving/layers of REAL PORCELAIN! This piece shows signs of use and age. Rust and chipping around the mounting holes and edges. This is a GREAT addition to any collection! Measures approximately: 11 3/4. FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A VINTAGE 1969 “TEXACO GASOLINE FILLING STATION WITH COWGIRL MODEL GRAPHICS ” 11 3/4″ BY 11 3/4″ SUPER HEAVY AND THICK (OVER 1 POUND, 15 OUNCES) PORCELAIN GASOLINE & OIL ADVERTISING PUMP PLATE SIGN. THIS SIGN HAS AWESOME GRAPHICS OF A GORGEOUS BLOND MODEL WOMAN WITH AN AWESOME COWBOY HAT AND COW GIRL OUTFIT. THESE GRAPHICS ARE RARE AND SELDOM SEEN AND ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITE ALONG WITH THE VERY HEAVY OVER 1 POUND, 15 OUNCES OF PORCELAIN AND YOU HAVE A GREAT PIECE OF ADVERTISING. THIS IS A VERY HARD TO FIND SIGN IN THIS CONDITION AND DOES SHOW A FEW CHIPS, LIGHT WEAR, AND USE AROUND THE HOLES BUT THE COLORS AND GRAPHICS AND GLOSS ARE AMAZING. YOU WOULD BE HARD PRESSED TO FIND ANOTHER ONE OF THESE LET ALONE A NICER ONE. THIS SIGN HAS 4 HOLES FOR HANGING AND IS MADE OF HEAVY PORCELAIN. THIS IS A VERY HARD TO FIND SIGN IN THE PORCELAIN VERSION. THIS SIGN DISPLAYS VERY WELL WITH GORGEOUS GLOSS AND MINOR WEAR INCLUDING LIGHT CHIPS AND USE. THIS SIGN MEASURE 11 3/4″ BY 11 3/4″ AND IS ROUND AND AND WEIGHTS A WHOPPING 1 POUND, 15 OUNCES AND IS MADE OF THICK HEAVY PORCELAIN. NOT CHEAP TIN OR THIN METAL. These are really cool! 6 inch metal key plates. These were used to attach the restroom key to when customers needed to use the facilities at a gas station or a service station. This sale includes one mans key plate and one ladys key plate exactly as shown in the photographs. Really nice colors and content. This is die cut, unique shape really makes it stand out way more then the typical round or square signage. This sign shows minor signs of use and age. Some chipping around the mounting holes and edges. Hard to find in this great of condition! Measures approximately: 6 1/4 x 3. Weights approximately: 1/2 LBS. The signs have age on them and will show signs of wear. Please note that you are purchasing a USED item, it is possible you will see signs of light rust or minor chipping of the porcelain around the edges. FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A VINTAGE “TEXACO GASOLINE RESTROOM OR BATHROOM KEY FOB SET OFM LADIES & MEN ” 6″ BY 3″ DIE-CUT HEAVY (6 OUNCES FOR THE PAIR) PORCELAIN METAL GASOLINE & OIL ADVERTISING SIGNS. I BELIEVE THAT THESE WOULD HAVE HAD A KEY WITH THEM AND WOULD HAVE BEEN USED TO OPEN THE DOOR OF THE TEXACO SERVICE STATION BATHROOM. THESE ARE MADE OF HEAVY PORCELAIN AND DIE-CUT AND WEIGHT A WHOPPING 3 OUNCES EACH OR 6 OUNCES TOTAL. Please do your own research as vintage does not necessarily mean original. Note: I was left with a large advertising collection along with some that I have collected over the years & I also attend high end estate sales in the area.
