Vintage Mobil & Gargoyle 11 3/4 Porcelain Metal Gasoline & Oil Thermometer Sign
FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A VINTAGE “MOBIL MOBILOIL & GARGOLYE ” 11 3/4 ” BY 3″ HEAVY (8 OUNCES) PORCELAIN METAL GASOLINE & OIL ADVERTISING THERMOMETER SIGN. THIS SIGN HAS AWESOME GRAPHICS OF BOTH THE FLYING RED PEGASUS HORSE AND THE SOCONY VACUUM GARGOYLE AND HAS A WORKING THERMOMETER. IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND ADVERTISING WITH BOTH THE GARGOYLE AND THE PEGASUS ON IT. THIS SIGN / THERMOMETER ONLY SHOWS SOME LIGHT WEAR, AND DISPLAYS VERY WELL WITH GORGEOUS GLOSS. THIS SIGN MEASURE 11 3/4″ BY 3″ AND WEIGHTS 8 OUNCES AND IS MADE OF THICK PORCELAIN METAL AND KEEPS CORRECT TEMPATURE. Please do your own research as vintage does not necessarily mean original. Note: I was left with a large advertising collection along with some that I have collected over the years & I also attend high end estate sales in the area.
