Made to the exact 1956 standard, used until 1978, when the white signs were replaced with green ones. The population figure is accurate to the 1960 U. I can make this city limit sign for any city or town in Texas, or any other state. An original of these is very rare to find scrapped; they have long since been retired from service. You can expect to pay many hundreds of dollars to obtain one-if any even survive. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without the hassle and expense of tracking one down on the collector’s market. Our Midland city limit sign is flat printed on steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. It weighs about 6 lb. And is 21 by 12 inches. If you would like a different size, city name, or population number, please do not hesitate to inquire. This is a high quality, heavy steel, non-reflective sign-perfect for indoor or outdoor display. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. Vintage Metal Double Wash Tub with original lid. Made by Ideal (embossed on both sides). Has light surface wear and light dents from years of use. Piece was made in Saginaw, Michigan. Has drain holes inside. Hardware may be replaced with new if any screws are rusted when removing them. The piece measures approx 31 1/2″ tall x 34″ long x 20 1/2 deep. Both basins are in great shape with no holes or separation at edges. The bottom drain hole plugs both work great. Has neat litho decals. Please feel free to ask any questions.
