Here is a sign that you do not come across everyday. On the front of the sign there is the calendar section at the top. In the center of the scene of a beer bottle sitting on the beach with the sail boat in the background. Plastic name plate that come off the left side of the sign. Along the bottom of the sign there is the smaller fine print 1963 Jos Schlitz Brewing Co. Here is a great piece to add to the collection, the sign has some surface scratches, but overall a great piece for display. It measures 17 inches tall and 14.5 inches wide. This would be a great decor piece for your beer man cave. Vintage Late 1950s Early’60s Coca-Cola Metal Fishtail Calendar Holder Coke Sign. Came out of grandfather’s barn during an era when things were used, not collected. Decided to leave in its current condition. Sign is solid for its age with fading, chips & minor rusting per photos. Would look great in any decorating scheme wanting that farm fresh, rustic look. Calendar is not original but from December, 1986. Calendar is in original, though, damaged packaging & calendar paper is faded with yellowing. Calendar added for a complete package. These are the ORIGINAL screws that were issued with this sign. Many people have lost them over the years and find “close-enough” replacements, but these are the ones you want. The back has a few light scuffs but is mostly clean overall and has NO rust. The little hang tab (nail hole) at the top of the sign was designed to be bent back, but it never was. There’s not a lot else I can say about this wonderful piece. It’s in beautiful condition and I have attached a very nice price on it.
