This vintage metal sign from Fargo, ND is a unique piece of advertising from the 1930s-1940s era. The yellow sign features the Dakota Bond & Mortgage Co. Logo, street address, and 4 digit telephone number. It could be a great addition to any collection or display. It was made in the United States and is an original piece, not a reproduction. The sign measures 19 3/4 inches length, 13 1/2 inch Height. This sign would look great displayed in a home, office, or business. It’s made with a hole near the top, so it’s ready to hang for display. It is a great conversation starter and a piece of history from the Dakota Bond & Mortgage Co. The sign is in good condition but shows signs of wear and tear due to its age, but it only adds to the vintage charm. Has not been cleaned or washed at all.

24 by 24 inch North Dakota state route 1 highway sign. The sign was made and installed in the 1990s or so. It is made by the state of North Dakota to the 1961 specification that was the last route marker to feature Chief Red Tomahawk. In 2016, the state did away with the classic Native American design and replaced it with a somewhat more boring map outline of the state. This is the classic heavy aluminum variant, 1/8 inch thick to ward against those heavy North Dakota winds! With screen printed number, and the correct silhouette of Chief Red Tomahawk. T he chief signs are getting harder and harder to find every day; they seem to have disappeared overnight from field us. Don’t miss your chance to get this awesome NUMBER ONE route marker! Condition is as shown in the photos. Sign is screen print on high intensity sheeting on aluminum. It lies completely straight and flat, with patina commensurate with its service.
