Minnesota Interstate 535 route marker. Up for sale today is this Minnesota Interstate 535 route sign. Made to the exact 1961 standard from the origins of the Eisenhower interstate highway system. The wider shields came with the revision of 1961-previously, three-digit route markers were the same size as two-digit, but with narrower numerals. This design was supplanted by the modern shield style-often with the state name omitted! -in 1971, and it gets harder and harder to find the original-style interstate route markers in many states. This sign is flat printed on heavy gauge steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. It weighs about 7 lb. And is 21 by 18 inches. It is a non-reflective sign-perfect for ordinary display, indoors or outdoors. If you would like a different size version, please ask as I can certainly make one! This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close! Please do see my other auctions for quality Minnesota US and state route markers! Would you like a number not seen here? Or perhaps a different style? I can of course make these signs with any route number of your choice, and not just this style, but older and newer ones, and even the classic mileage, direction, and city limit guide signs from the era. Anything you would like, made with unsurpassed quality right here in the good old US of A. Figure about 9 lb. The watermark and bear logo in the design preview will not appear on the actual sign. We have begun adding a watermark because we have had problems with other companies copying our artwork to make lesser-quality imitations. You will only get this high level of quality in design and materials from Signs by Jake. Life doesn’t happen along the interstates. It’s against the law.

Here is a vintage Fitgers Beer sign from 1938. Made of tin, with a wood frame in the back. Was found on a cooler door in an old tavern in northern Wisconsin. It had grey paint on the vanity bar on top, I removed some of it. I didnt want to get to aggresive, read Jakes Tavern. Great gloss to sign, some paint flaking in the black on the bottom. Some dents and bruises, but a very difficult sign to find. It can be viewed in person at Poppin Tags Thrift Store in Hayward Wisconsin. Measures approx 5 foot 3 foot. The item “Vintage Fitgers Beer metal sign 5 x 3 Duluth Minnesota circa 1938″ is in sale since Tuesday, May 18, 2021. This item is in the category “Collectibles\Breweriana, Beer\Signs & Tins\Other Beer Signs & Tins”. The seller is “tysa1990″ and is located in Hayward, Wisconsin. On the front of the sign there is the early version of the light up scene of Split Rock Light House with the advertising on the right side. The bottom part of the sign there is the clock part of the sign. The sign does light up on the scene at the top, and the lower clock works and seems to be keeping time, the last three pictures show the sign lit up. Here is a nice sign that would be a great addition to the collection, the sign has some minor finish ware on the metal areas but as seen in the photos it is a great piece and is ready for a collection. On the front of the sign there is the wording “Fitgers Rex Beer” in the center, with the smaller advertising wording around it.
