Here is a great piece that you do not see often, rare to find. I have decided to sell it along with a few other pieces I have collected. The face of the sign has the awesome graphics of a Snowman semi melting. It has a working thermometer in tact as well. Here is a nice sign to add to the collection, pretty decent condition, with some paint ware and staining mostly on the bottom area, as seen in the photos it is a great piece for display. This great piece measure 32 inches tall and 18 inches wide. If you collect signs, gas and oil signs, cans, gas pumps, lubster, Gulf, Valvoline, Mobil, Standard, Texaco, Willard, Ac Delco, Service Station Advertising Display rack, BFGoodrich, Exide Batteries, firestone etc, Add this nice piece to your collection. Nice Vintage Prestone Anti-Freeze You’re Safe Set Sure Porcelain Metal Advertising Thermometer. Average to below average amount of wear, staining and paint loss, mostly by mounting holes and along edges. Thermometer is still there but I can’t see a reading. I believe this to be from 1940’s. It measures approximately 36″ by 9″ at widest part. Displays nicely and would make a great addition to your collection. I have left it up to you to either clean it or leave as is.
