Up for sale today is this Wantagh State Parkway route sign, from New York. Made to the exact state standard as used from the 1990s or so with the famous lighthouse design. The Wantagh Parkway runs for 13.3 mi. (21.4 km) and is one of the earliest Long Island parkways, with initial construction completing in 1929. Now, the road runs from Jones Beach State Park to Westbury, and links the Ocean State Parkway to the Northern State Parkway. Please do note that I can make this parkway marker with any of the names in use in New York! I can make any destination sign; inquire about your home town! An original of these is very rare to find scrapped; most of them enjoy their active service on the highway and the side streets. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without chancing legal trouble. The sign is flat printed on steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. It weighs about 6 lb.
