Wright County Road C20 highway marker. Up for sale today is this Wright County Road C20 route sign. Made to the exact federal standards for signs of this type specified in the Standard Highway Signs book. County Road C20 spans the entire width of Wright County, and is also known as 130th Street. It briefly overlaps with US-69 north of Belmond to share its bridge across the Iowa River. An original of these is most likely to be found in active service along County Road C20. The Wright County Sheriff knows where they are supposed to be-on their posts, not in the trunk of your car. So here’s your chance to get your hands on a fantastic display piece… Without chancing legal trouble. The sign is 12 by 12 inches, and weighs 2 lb. This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. 24 by 24 inch Escambia County, Florida route 11 highway sign. The sign is of 1990s manufacture, and is retired from road use. It is made by the county to the 1959 federal specification for the yellow on blue pentagon county route markers. Condition is as shown in the photos. Sign is screen print on engineer-grade sheeting on aluminum. It lies almost completely straight and flat, with patina commensurate with its service. Signs guaranteed old, original, authentic.
