Large scale flock of seagulls sculpture by Bijan c1970’s. Black metal birds, staggered and welded at the wingtips, mounted to a quartz base. The wide spanned design allows for movement, providing a kinetic “flying” effect. In excellent vintage condition with age appropriate wear. Very heavy, weighted base. Curtis JERE Windswept Brass Sculpture On Marble Base Signed Brutalist Vintage

Jere brass sculpture entitled Windswept, and dated 1987. You will notice a groove in the marble base where the sculpture sits. You will also notice some light, stable corrosion. I have not tried to shine or polish the sculpture at all, though there is minor evidence of previous cleaning. It stands about 32 tall by 7 wide by 19 across.
