Ohio US Route 23 marker. Up for sale today is this US route 23 sign, from Ohio. Made to the exact 1926 federal standard, as used between then and about 1948 along this famous road. This particular section of the route runs fo 234.83 mi. (377.92 km) across the entire state, from the Kentucky state line at Portsmouth in the southern-central part of Ohio to the Michigan state line at Sylvania in the northwest part of the state. Along the way, it travels through Chillicothe, Columbus, Perrysburg, and Maumee before the route continues on, all the way up to Mackinaw City, Michigan. An original of these is very rare to find on the collector’s market; if and when you do, expect to pay many hundreds or even thousands of dollars. I can, of course, make this sign with any route or destination of your choice. Here is your chance to own a beautiful sign commemorating all the fun you and your loved ones have had along this lovely route, without breaking the bank.
