LISTING IS FOR AN AMAZING CURTIS JERE METAL WALL SCULPTURE OF 3 CAROUSEL HORSES. SCULPTURE IS SIGNED ON THE FRONT, BUT IT IS A LITTLE HARD TO READC JERE 1981 (REFER TO LAST PHOTO). ON THE BACK METAL IS IMPRESSED WITH “HECHO EN MEXICO” (HARD TO SEE). THIS PIECE WAS MADE BY ARTISAN HOUSE UNDER THE NAME CURTIS JERE. CURTIS JERE IS THE WORK OF JERRY FELS & CURTIS FREILER. THEY BEGAN IN THE LATE 1950s THROUGH THE LATE 1970s AND CREATED HANDMADE METAL WALL SCULPTURES. CAROUSEL SCULPTURE MEASURES ABOUT 48″ X 30-1/4″ TALL X ABOUT 5-1/4 PROJECTION FROM WALL. Vintage 1950s Large 25 x 9 Buffalo Rock Ginger Ale Tin Metal Thermometer Sign

If you are a vintage sign collector, then you know that finding an old soda advertisement sign with a WORKING thermometer is pretty rare, but finding a Buffalo Rock one is close to impossible. This one in particular is is in great overall condition, with only some minor wear around the bottom of the sign. The colors are nice and bright, and the bottle and logo are unscathed, with only a minimal patina due to the age. Smaller soda companies didn’t have the advertising budget that the bigger names like Coke, Pepsi, and Crush had, so most of their signs were on average around 12 long. But this one measures out at a whopping 25 1/2″ x 9 5/8″ which makes it exceptionally rare, and the largest Buffalo Rock sign I’ve ever seen. If you are a soda sign collector, or a Birmingham AL collector, then you cannot pass this one up!
