Vintage Late 1950s Early’60s Coca-Cola Metal Fishtail Calendar Holder COKE Sign
The Coca-Cola Company Vintage! Late 1950s To Early 1960s (The Arciform “Fishtail” Logo Was Only Used From 1958 To 1965) Promotional Calendar / Notepad Holder 100% Original / Antique Measures Roughly 9 1/4″ Wide x 12 3/4″ Tall (NOT Counting The Hang Tab, Which Was Never Folded Over) Reads “Drink Coca-Cola” Across The Top And “Coke Refreshes You Best” In The Center Of The Sign Simply Beautiful: Great Paint Overall And Pretty Clean, Has Light Scuffing And Some Small Paint Nicks From Age. Please Read On For A More In-Depth Description And Other Important Info Below.. The item you see below is the exact one you will receive as no stock photos are used. Th is vintage Coca-Cola calendar holder / sign was made in the late’50s or early’60s for promotional purposes in soda fountains, diners, grocery stores and such. It’s in great condition overall with only a few small paint nicks and some light scuffs in places. The paper from the remainder of the pad has yellowed the white paint a bit underneath it, but this is not seen when used for its intended purpose. Speaking of notepads / paper, this has been found one of two ways over the years, and if memory serves, both are discussed in one or more of Petretti’s Coke books. This was available with a calendar pad or with a blank paper pad so that notes could be written on it. Both signs / holders are the same, so only the pad would be different. So of course today, you can easily put whatever kind of pad you prefer on this sign. Changing the pad out is simple with the installed peg screws. These are the ORIGINAL screws that were issued with this sign. Many people have lost them over the years and find “close-enough” replacements, but these are the ones you want. The back has a few light scuffs but is mostly clean overall and has NO rust. The little hang tab (nail hole) at the top of the sign was designed to be bent back, but it never was. There’s not a lot else I can say about this wonderful piece. It’s in beautiful condition and I have attached a very nice price on it. Vintage 1962 Texaco Sky Chief Marine Gasoline outboard Metal Sign Gas Oil 18X12
Here is a nice sign that would look great in a collection. On the front of the sign there is the advertising wording across the top. In the center on the left side there is the Texaco Red Star T Logo, in a white circle, and there is the smaller advertising wording below. In the lower left corner of the sign there is the small fine print wording of “Made in USA” and in the right corner of the sign there is the smaller fine print wording of 3-11-62, I do have a white inventory sticker on the left side of the “Gasoline” wording in the black section. The sign is in nice condition , there is a few porcelain chips here and there mainly along the edges of the sign and some grime on front and back. It measures 18 inches tall by 12 inches wide. If you collect signs, gas and oil signs, cans, gas pumps, lubster, Gulf, Valvoline, Mobil, Standard, Texaco, Willard, Ac Delco, Service Station Advertising Display rack, BFGoodrich, Exide Batteries, etc, Add this nice piece to your collection.
