Antique Vtg Iron French Butcher Pig Hand Painted Advertising Primitive Trade Sign. Fabulous Double-sided French France Butcher Boucherie Sign… Painted on both sides and while one side is a little more weathered, both sides are in excellent condition for their age. Paint looks to be original. We are french sign collectors and have decided to reduce some of our signs as we are moving to a smaller home. Love love love this sign. I dont know how it was hung as there are no holes for brackets. But we had it displayed in our kitchen on a metal shelf we acquired from CB2… Which weve used for several of our large French heavier signs. There is a cork Ive put in the top so no one gets gored. Should really be in a charcuterie or boucherie! 35 long and the highest point with the tip and cork is 21. Also please take note that the tip of the knife is slightly bent. Original real early 1900s era metal sign. Likely dates to the 20s or 30s. Made of very thin metal-measures 3 x 20 inch. It is distressed-scuffs-scratches-bends and dents-even some nail holes–it is NOT in mint condition-I think it looks better this way-adds character. There are bends and bumps to the front of the sign that the photos can not show. Antique Vintage Original BAXTER’S DRUM 5 Cent Cigar Advertising Metal SignOLD

This is not a repop sign. This sign measures 9.5 x 13.5 and is in pretty good used condition for its age. My research indicates that this sign is from the 1940s. The sign itself is tin and the colors still look great. Most recently, this sign has been hanging indoors. As you will see in the pics you can see wear around the corner holes. There are some minor dents which are visible in the pics. There are a couple of areas along the edges where you can see some paint that is not original to the sign. This is most likely from a wall being painted while the sign was still hanging on the area being painted. Ive included close up pics of the front, back, and corners of the sign so that you can evaluate the current condition and verify that this is an original item. Please do not hesitate to message me with questions about the sign or with requests for additional pics. This would make a great present for Fathers Day!
