60 by 75 centimeter (approximately 24 by 30 inch) inch Manitoba provincial route 23 highway sign. The sign is made to the 1980s specification which introduced this particular depiction of a bison (buffalo, for all the western New Yorkers), above the route number. This particular sign dates to 1985. Condition is as shown in the photos. Sign is screen print on engineer grade sheeting on aluminum. Very nice unrestored 100% original West Virginia license plate. 11 by 4 inches; white legend on red background. Completely straight and flat, with original porcelain as seen in the photos. A relic condition, but very much displayable with the number being completely legible. Porcelain plates are fragile, because the coating is literally glass fused to the steel. 16 by 16 inch Pennsylvania state route 345 highway sign. The sign is made to the 1926 specification which is the earliest style of the classic 16 diecut keystone. This variant is embossed, and has the word ROUTE up top: they changed to PENNA in 1940 to match the new Penna Turnpike signage. Complete with the official keystone stamp of the Pennsylvania Road Department at lower right. Condition is as shown in the photos. Sign is black roll-coated highlights on white paint on embossed steel. It lies completely straight and flat, with patina commensurate with its service. Signs guaranteed old, original, authentic.
