United States Rubber Company Advertising Metal Sign
This nice US RUBBER replica sign is 30 inches in diameter and was handmade by White Buffalo Sign Co. Here in the USA. The image was captured by a high resolution large format scanner with care given to keep all the detail of the aged original sign. Then the printed image was applied to 1/8th inch thick DiBond material which is the industries leading aluminum composite product. It is lightweight, extremely rigid and strong making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. The company was founded in Naugatuck, Connecticut in 1892. In 1990, Uniroyal was acquired by French tire maker Michelin and ceased to exist as a separate business. This is a great looking reproduction gas and oil sign.
