Vintage Metal Honey Bee Snuff Tin Chewing Tobacco Thermometer Sign 16inX6 WORKS

At the top of the piece there is the graphic of a tobacco tin can which has the wording, “Honey Bee”. In the center of the piece there is the thermometer section, which has the numbering surrounding the glass tube. Here is a great piece that you do not come across often, the piece has some rust mainly near the 10 & 0 areas, paint ware, and a few scratches, overall a nice piece for display. In the top left corner of the piece I have a white inventory sticker on the sign. It measures about 6 inches wide and 16 inches tall. Very old original tin sign advertising Emerson 5 cent Cigars. Measures 39″ long and 13-1/4″ high. Robertson Steel & Iron Co. Springfield, OH in the lower right border area. A great wall hanger to decorate your country store. It is in as-found condition from a local farm estate with no repairs or touch-ups. There is a crease down the center horizontally and many dents. Some loss at the corners. A few drips of white paint. Overall it has a lot of appeal with all those “character marks” that came honestly over the years. The sign is made from a heavy gauge metal. The top of the sign has the wording “Sun Cured” in black lettering on the yellow background. In the center of the piece there is the graphic of a Red Raccoon, with the wording of “Red Coon” below. On the bottom of the sign there is the wording, “Chewing Tobacco”. I don’t know the age of the sign but it does have a fair amount of paint ware and discoloration throughout the sign. It measures about 21 inches wide and 25 inches tall.
