Made to the exact state standard used from 1956 to 1993, when the state officially stopped producing them, as the federal government said they would no longer allow funds to be used to replace colored shields (as opposed to the already-standardized black-and-white versions). This particular section of the route runs for 75.04 mi. (120.77 km) from its intersection with US 27 in Four Corners at the west end to its junction with State Road A1A in Indialantic, one block from the Atlantic Ocean at the east end, going past Walt Disney World and through Kissimmee, St. Cloud, and Melbourne along the way.
