The Wantagh Parkway runs for 13.3 mi. (21.4 km) and is one of the earliest Long Island parkways, with initial construction completing in 1929. Now, the road runs from Jones Beach State Park to Westbury, and links the Ocean State Parkway to the Northern State Parkway.
