FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A VINTAGE 1951 “POLLY PREMIUM MOTOR OIL WITH PARROT GRAPHICS” 11 3/4 HEAVY (OVER 1 POUND, 9 OUNCES) PORCELAIN METAL GASOLINE & OIL ADVERTISING SIGN. THIS SIGN HAS FANTASTIC GRAPHICS OF THE VERY NEAT AND SELDOM SEEN POLLY THE PARROT FROM WILTSHIRE OIL COMPANY AND IS MARED 1951. THIS IS VERY HARD TO FIND LET ALONE IN NEW OLD STOCK SHAPE! THIS SIGN DOES SHOW SOME LIGHT WEAR NEAR THE HOLES BUT DISPLAYS VERY WELL WITH GORGEOUS COLORS AND GLOSS. THIS SIGN MEASURE 11 3/4 AND IS ROUND AND WEIGHTS OVER 1 POUND, 9 OUNCES AND IS MADE OF A HEAVY PORCELAIN. NOT CHEAP TIN OR THINK METAL. THIS SIGN HAS AMAZING GLOSS AND IS IN NEAR NEW OLD STOCK CONDITION AND IS READY TO HANG. Please do your own research as vintage does not necessarily mean original. Note: I was left with a large advertising collection along with some that I have collected over the years & I also attend high end estate sales in the area.
