This design was supplanted by the modern shield style-often with the state name omitted! In 1971, and it gets harder and harder to find the original-style interstate route markers in many states. This sign is flat printed on heavy gauge steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. It weighs about 11 lb. And is 24 by 24 inches. It is a non-reflective sign-perfect for ordinary display, indoors or outdoors. If you would like a different size version, please ask as I can certainly make one! This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. A nice piece that you do not find very often. The sign has great graphics of Crushy and a bottle of Crush soda. Add this great piece to the collection, there are some spots of paint ware, mostly on the edges, some extra nail holes, but overall, a great piece. The sign measures about 13.25 inches tall and about 38.25 inches wide. Dated 1938 on bottom right. 18 by 24 inch New Jersey highway sign. Jersey Shore Medical Center, with a right arrow. The sign very likely dates back to the opening of the hospital in 1966 – it is located in Neptune Township, and now known as the Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center. 1930s-looking traffic signal says Stop Accidents, Stay Alive, Drive Safely. Celebrate your favorite memories of your trip to the Jersey Shore and all of its wonderful amenities! Condition is as shown in the photos. Sign is screen print on engineer grade reflective sheeting on aluminum. It lies completely straight and flat, with patina commensurate with its service. Signs guaranteed old, original, authentic.
