North Dakota Highway 420 route marker. Up for sale today is this North Dakota Highway 420 highway sign. Made to the exact 1961 state specification that was in use until 2016. An original of these is very rare to find scrapped, owing mostly to the fact that North Dakota doesn’t actually have a Highway 420. But who’s stopping us from making them? Our customers like the number for reasons we won’t get into. Even if NDDOT created a Highway 420 tomorrow, the design with the classic chief is being phased out in favor of one showing the outline of North Dakota, so a sign like this one will never be posted in the field. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without a trip to an alternate dimension. The sign is 30 by 24 inches, and weighs 18 lb. This is a high quality, heavy steel replica sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close! North Dakota Highway 11 route marker. Up for sale today is this Highway 11 sign, from North Dakota. Made to the exact state standard used from 1961 until very recently along this famous road. This particular route runs for 182.459 mi. (293.639 km) in the south-central to southeastern part of the North Dakota. The route travels from its junction with U. Route 83 west of Hague to the Minnesota/North Dakota border, where it continues on as Minnesota State Highway 55. I can, of course, make this sign with any route or destination of your choice. An original of these is very rare to find scrapped; even as the design is being replaced with the new style that has the state map instead of the classic chief, many still enjoy their active service on the highway and the side streets.
