Washington State Route 167 highway road sign Tacoma Kent Renton 16×16
Washington State Highway 167 route marker. Up for sale today is this Washington State Route 167 highway sign. Made to the exact 1964 state specification that was in use until 1970. An original of these is very rare to find scrapped. Most of them have vanished from the back roads of Washington many years ago, replaced with the modern issue. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without paying an arm and a leg on the collector’s market. The sign is 16 by 16 inches, and weighs 6 lb. This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close! US Route 61 route marker. Up for sale today is this US Route 61 sign. Made to the exact 1961 federal standard, as officially used between then and 1970 along this famous highway. US 61 signs like this one could, at one point, be found in all the states it passes through. Now, a dwindling number of them can be found in many states as they transition to the newer-and in my opinion, uglier! Signage introduced in 1971 (although some Southern states continue using this style to this day). An original of these can be very hard to come by.
