Antique School Zone/Crossing Guard 2-sided metal sign withstand vintage 1930-40’s
Rare vintage School crossing sign with a school girl in a red dress holding a sign which reads “School Zone”. The 2-sided red & black sign is lithographed on heavy gage sheet metal. The two sides flank a center post which is attach’d to a cast iron base. One side of the sign is in slightly better condition than the other- the best side is pict’d in photos 1-4. Pics 5-12 are of the other side. The sign is approx. 49.5″ tall and the base is a diameter of 15″. Contact Brian at the Pocatello Idaho “UPS Store”. I will deliver it to them for no additional cost. Note: Whenever possible I use recycled, repurposed, and/or used packaging materials. This is my small way of helping save the planet and my pocketbook! Vintage Slow School Zone Crossing Guard Porcelain Metal Sign USA Police Officer
Police officer crossing guard holding his white glove hand up with a sign that reads, slow school zone. Really nice colors and content. This is die cut, unique shape really makes it stand out way more then the typical round or square signage. This sign shows minor signs of use and age. Some chipping around the mounting holes and edges. Hard to find in this great of condition! Measures approximately: 9 1/4 x 4 1/4. Weights approximately: 6 oz. The signs have age on them and will show signs of wear. Please note that you are purchasing a USED item, it is possible you will see signs of light rust or minor chipping of the porcelain around the edges. If there is any greater damage it will be clearly shown in the photos for you. Please use all of our 12 photographs as your best description of this item. My father, uncles and grandfather have spent over 70 years collectively, collecting signs from all over the United States. They have finally agreed to allow me to sell a portion of their collection. The majority of the signs are from advertising buyouts and estate sales. These signs have previously been hung inside garages and in warehouses mostly, some have been hung outdoors and are in less mint condition.
