Top of the sign is 10 1/2 inches long by 12 inches tall, 3 small signs are 9 5/8 inches long by 2 5/16 inches tall. The sign is in unused condition, minor surface scratches. Vintage 90’s era United Parcel Service UPS Next Day Air 2nd Day Air Metal Sign

Pick My Pick Store. For sale is a. Vintage 90’s era United Parcel Service UPS Next Day Air / 2nd Day Air Metal Sign. As you can see the colors are still very bright from being hung indoor for decades. I bought it from a retired UPS employee with 38 years working for UPS. I believe the airplane depicted in the photo’s is a McDonnell Douglas MD-11F. Said this sign was placed in his UPS hub when they introduced next day and second day air in the early 80’s. It has been hanging in his shop since retirement in the early 2000’s. It is so rare I can’t find a listing or pictures for another like it. It is 23 1/2″ High and 17 3/8″ wide. The face has some light rust pitting but for its age is in great shape. Has its original wood backing as you can see in the pictures. The sign lays and hangs flat.
