The sign is in very good to excellent condition. Scratching, denting, bending, marring, rust, paint loss, age distress etc is present. Pictures best capture condition please see them. Most paint loss is along the edges. Dimensions approx 39.5″ Tall x 29.75″ Wide. Sign weighs close to 13 pounds and judging by makers mark was probably made in the 1960’s. The picture showing the back of the sign makes it look like it’s two different colors which was caused by the flash. It is Red on the back just like in the front. Original “MOTEL OFFICE” Sign. 14″ H x 22″ W x 2 D. The original layer says “Authorized Fan Belt Service”. Top layer says: “Motel Office”. This is a great overpainted design that is original to the piece. This sign is heavy and was used (as is) for a motel. Originally painted over the top of another sign, this boasts excellent patina, wear and a layered effect that is very striking and cool. This was not something made to look old or designed after the fact for sale. This is a found object that happens to be two signs in one – the original and the one overpainted. Some rust and paint chipping but that makes this look even cooler. Side mount so it comes out perpendicular from a wall. Last photo was taken outside in daylight which makes it look a bit lighter in color than it really is but shows the age-related tarnish and stains clearly. Original 70’s 80’s GM Chevy Trucks Lasting Value Metal Double Sided Sign Vintage Dealer Advertising Lithograph. Vintage dealer sign mounted in auto repair shop. Has wear and discoloration over the lithograph. Color and graphics are nice, minor dings and dents. Measures 21-1/2″ by 18″. I use a white backdrop in an effort to represent the item clearly, but colors can be slightly different in different lighting or objects may appear smaller/larger. Huge Vintage 1950’s Chevrolet 2 Sided 25′ Neon Porcelain Metal Gas Oil Sign

For your consideration a vintage 1950’s sign. The sign is made of metal and is double sided. The signs have a porcelain finish and are made to be neon lit. The glass neon tubes for the letters are missing. Each side has three porcelain panels that make up Chevrolet. The transformers look to be complete and the body of the sign is still in good condition. The porcelain signs are still in good condition and there is no touch up. They could use a good cleaning. It measures overall with the mounting brackets 45″ in depth by 285″ in height. The body with the porcelain signs measures 280 1/2″ in height by 34″ in depth by 14 1/2 in width. The hanging bracket on the top measures 42 across. I can store the sign for as long as needed as long as it is paid for. It is in Crawfordsville, Indiana zip code 47933. It originally hung in front of City Chevrolet in Chicago’s famous auto row. An excellent addition to any advertising collection or if you just want to own a really neat old sign and a great piece of history. Vintage 1970s Michelin Bibendum Motorcycle Metal Double Sided Sign 19 x 18

Genuine 1970s Metal Double sided Michelin Motorcycle Tyres (Bibendum Man) Advertising Sign with fixing side & holes. The sign has 2 different images on each side, both showing the Michelin Bibendum man in different poses. Size – 19″ (49cm) high x 18″ (46cm) wide. It has the angled side and all 4 of its original holes undamaged for mounting and will hang really well. It is in excellent condition and very clean as shown in the photos, with only very very minor age related wear, there is a bit of old paint on the metal side where it mounts to the wall but this will come off and will be largely hidden once fixed other than that there is no paint retouching and what we have is a great sign. It was salvaged in the 1980s my father and is part of his large collection of quality signs which we are now starting to dispose of. These signs have never previously come up for sale and are in great original condition having been mounted in either his garage or shed. Weight – 1.4kg.
