VINTAGE 1940″ “LA FENDRICH 5 CENT CIGAR PAINTED METAL ADVERTISING THERMOMETER. IT MEASURES (25″x 9.5″) AND IN GOOD OVERALL CONDITION. HAS GREAT COLOR AND WONDERFUL GRAPHICS. DOES HAVE A FEW SCRATCHES, A FEW DINGS, AND SOME MINOR CHIPS IN THE PAINT. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS FOR EXACT CONDITION. THIS IS A VERY HARD TO FIND (RARE) THERMOMETER. I’VE COLLECTED VINTAGE TOBACCO SIGNS, TINS, THERMOMETERS, FOR 20 PLUS YEARS AND HAVE OWNED THIS THERMOMETER FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST I’VE EVER SEEN, YOU’D BE HARD PRESSED TO EVEN FIND AN OTHER ONE, LET ALONE ONE IN BETTER CONDITION. BEING FROM THE 1940’s THERE PROBABLY WEREN’T MANY THAT SURVIVED. DURING THE WAR MOST EVERYTHING THAT WAS METAL GOT MELTED DOWN TO SUPPORT THE WAR EFFORT. THERMOMETER IS 100% ORIGINAL AND HAS NO TOUCH UPS. IT WILL BE WELL PACKED AND GUARANTEED TO ARRIVE UNDAMAGED.
