The route was numbered US highway 91 in 1926, and then the parallel interstate 15 was built in the 1950s and 1960s. The sign features both the Auto Club of Southern California logo as well as the beehive symbol of the state of Utah. An original of these, complete with the logo of the Automobile Club of Southern California, would cost many thousands of dollars if it ever came to the market.
