Up for sale is a vintage porcelain metal sign for Standard Gasoline. This original piece dates back to the 1930s and is in excellent condition. The sign features a vibrant red color and advertising for Standard Service. It would make a great addition to any gas and oil or advertising collection. This sign was made in the United States and is a true original piece of memorabilia. Sign shows some rust, chips in porcelain. See pics for condition.

Cleveland National Forest Temescal Ranger Station sign. Up for sale today is this Cleveland National Forest Temescal Ranger Station sign. Made to the exact US Forest Service standards as used starting in the 1960s or so. This particular National Forest is in the inland Southern California mountains, in San Diego, Riverside, and Orange counties. Please note that I can make this sign for any of our National Forests, from Allegheny to Willamette, or anything else you’d like for the sign to say. An original of these is not only very rare to find scrapped, but is a herculean effort to transport; they are about six or eight feet wide. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without chancing legal trouble… This sign has been rescaled to a much more convenient 30 by 20 inches, and weighs about 13 lb. If you would like a different size sign, please inquire. This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. Made to the exact state standard used in the 1970s and is still in use today. Flathead National Forest, named after the Flathead tribe of Native Americans that live in the area, covers over 2.4 million acres (3,758 square miles or 9,732 square km), with about 1 million acres designated as “wilderness”. The forest itself lies mostly within the Flathead County of Montana, but also extends into the surrounding counties slightly. Now there is even a cabin at the old Ranger Station that you can stay in and see what it might have been like to be a ranger in the early 1920s.
