Your raw steel finish is created at our local mill and can be darker or lighter than our pictures depending on what material is being recycled that day. I will turn your logo into a plasma ready file and cut it out of. Send your logo or artwork to me through a message using the following file types. All designing is done in house. Once we have a working proof your custom sign will be cut out using a homemade CNC plasma table that precisely cuts out your design using a 50,000-degree plasma torch. Once your design cools I start the finishing process to remove any unwanted slag and smooth out any sharp edges leaving you with a raw steel sign perfect for your antique finish, paint or natural rust. Plasma can only cut in negative space e. Black and white so there are some limitations to the amount of detail that can be crammed into a given space. I like to think about it as a silhouette, you get the message but some of the finer points are left out. Leaving you with a simplified and powerful impression that is recognizable and memorable. This UV protected finish will protect the steel in the toughest conditions including outside in wet and salty environments. Powder coat is a thick industrial coating that is VOC free and holds up for many years. OUTDOOR GLOSS CLEAR – The Outdoor Gloss Clear finish is a glossy clear powder coat that makes the steel darker, sometimes even black. OUTDOOR FLAT BLACK – The Outdoor Flat Black finish is a matte black powder coat. OUTDOOR GLOSS WHITE – The Outdoor Gloss White finish is a glossy white powder coat. RARE EARLY 20TH CENTURY ALFRED PEATS PRIZE WALL PAPER ANTIQUE BAKED CERAMIC PORCELAIN STEEL, METAL ADVERTISING SIGN, with PRE- DRILLED HOLES ALONG OUTSIDE MARGINS for WALL MOUNTING/ HANGING. [New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston]. Early 20th century Ame ri can antique early decorating supply advertising & porcelain ceramic metal home decorating advertising signs. 17″ Width x 14″ Height. For sale is this very scarce and very cool early 20th century Ame ri can antique baked porcelain ceramic steel metal wall paper and home/office decorating advertising sign, produced by Alfred Peats Prize Wall Paper Agency, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Boston. It has pre-drilled wall hanging/mounting holes along its perimeter and it’s largely here, due to the concussive force of metal fasteners affixing the porcelain sign to a wall, where damage to the surface of the sign is primarily located. The porcelain ceramic enamel loss is minimal and the interior field of the sign has only some minor abrasions/scuffs and a single small area of enamel loss on the lower right quarter of its front. The back of the sign has smooth baked porcelain ceramic surfaces with more visible oxidation, as moisture would have been caught between its surface and the wall it was mounted on. It looks to have been mounted indoors, as the sign is relatively unscathed. It’s now nearly 100 years old and counting. Its facia is still glossy and its rich colors remain nearly undiminished in overall saturation and intensity. The sign measures 17″ in width by 14″ in height.
