24 by 24 inch yellow diamond ROAD RIGHT caution sign. The sign is made to the 1948 federal standard which specified the new round font set, and a greater emphasis on words rather than pictures. This change would be undone, and reflectivity specified, by 1954, so this makes the sign conform to only a brief era of standard. Condition is as shown in the photos. Sign is black on yellow paint, on embossed steel. It lies completely straight and flat with original paint as seen in the photos. Patina is commensurate with its service.
