Signs in this style were still being posted until 1965, and remained in service for several years thereafter. An original of these is very rare to find scrapped. Most of them vanished long ago, when they were replaced with the more modern issues. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without paying a small fortune on the collector’s market. I can make any street name sign, from San Francisco or any other city! Ask about your favorite street! The sign is 33 by 11 inches, and weighs about 9 lb. This is a high quality, heavy steel remake. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close! Would you like a street name or block number not seen here? Condition is as shown in the photos. Sign is black roll-coated highlights on white paint on embossed steel. It lies almost completely straight and flat, and has been restored to the correct colors and finish. Signs guaranteed old, original, authentic.
