1960s genuine, NOT repro ESSO Extra Motor Oil Metal Sign. M easures 24 x 19 at its widest part, the bottom – its slightly asymmetrical, narrower at the top. I assume its one part of a garage forecourt display stand for motor oil. Its in the condition you see in the pictures. Dirty, dented, paint marks and someone has shot at the back of it with an air rifle. In the USA they shoot their signs with proper guns! I guess our own brand of mindless thuggery is somewhat milder.
