Vintage Metal Sign

16 by 16 inch Indiana state route 3 highway marker. Made to the 1955 state specification that changed from embossed shields with the state map, to flat shields with the state name. The type of reflective sheeting dates it to being most likely from the 1960s, as the specification was abolished by 1971. Condition is as shown in the photos. Sign is black screen print on old style yellowish-white engineer grade sheeting, on aluminum. It lies completely straight and flat with patina commensurate with its service.
