New York US Route 6 route marker. Up for sale today is this New York US Route 6 sign. Made to the exact 1927 state standard, complete with the unique double border only ever used in New York state. An original of these is very hard to come by. They were retired from the roads of New York long ago, with most of them being destroyed and only a few examples circulating on the collector’s market. An original would easily run many hundreds or even thousands of dollars on the collector’s market. So here’s your chance to get your hands on a fantastic display piece… Without breaking the bank. The sign is 12 by 12 inches, and weighs 2 lb. This is a high quality, heavy steel replica sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close! Please do see my other auctions for quality New York state and Interstate route markers! Would you like a number not seen here? Or perhaps a different style? I can of course make these signs with any route number of your choice, and not just this style, but older and newer ones, and even the classic mileage, direction, and city limit guide signs from the era. Anything you would like, made with unsurpassed quality right here in the good old US of A. Life doesn’t happen along the interstates. It’s against the law. Figure about 4 lb. The watermark and bear logo in the design preview will not appear on the actual sign. We have begun adding a watermark because we have had problems with other companies copying our artwork to make lesser-quality imitations. You will only get this high level of quality in design and materials from Signs by Jake.

Missouri Interstate 55 route marker. Up for sale today is this Missouri Interstate 55 route sign. Made to the exact 1957 standard from the origins of the Eisenhower interstate highway system. This sign is flat printed on heavy gauge steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. It weighs about 2 lb. And is 12 by 12 inches. It is a non-reflective sign-perfect for ordinary display, indoors or outdoors. If you would like a different size version, please ask as I can certainly make one! Pittsburg, New Hampshire city limit sign. Up for sale today is this Pittsburg town limit sign, from New Hampshire. Made to the exact state standard as used starting in the 1990s and lasting to the present day. Pittsburg, despite only having 800 people in it according to the 2020 census, is the biggest town (by area, anyway) in New England. It also swells to even larger numbers during the winter’s tourist season, as it is a hotspot for ATV and snowmobile fans, who take advantage of the state-maintained trails throughout the year, but particularly in winter. This would be a perfect gift for the ATV or snowmobile enthusiast in your life, to remind them of the fun they had in this small town when they can’t be on their vehicle of choice. Show them how much you care with this elegant conversation piece! I can make this city limit sign for any city or town in New Hampshire, or any other state. An original of these is very rare to find scrapped; most of them enjoy their active service on the highway and the side streets. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without chancing legal trouble. Our Pittsburg city limit sign is flat printed on steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. It weighs about 9 lb. And is 48 by 8 inches. If you would like a different size or city name, please do not hesitate to inquire. This is a high quality, heavy steel, non-reflective sign-perfect for indoor or outdoor display. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. Made to the exact 1956 standard used until 1978 when the white signs were replaced with green ones. The population figure is accurate to the late 1950s. Lubbock – the home of cotton fields as far as the eye can see, the Red Raiders, and the late great Buddy Holly – is also the heart of the South Plains in the panhandle of Texas, nicknamed “The Hub City” for that very reason. It sits at the (current) southern end of Interstate 27, one of the shortest interstates in the country, at a mere 124.132 miles, or 199.771 km long. Take this opportunity to show your love for Lubbock and own a piece of roadside history all in one! I can make this city limit sign for any city or town in Texas, or any other state. Please note that I can make this sign for any of our National Forests, from Allegheny to Willamette, or anything else you’d like for the sign to say. Kansas K- 66 route marker. Up for sale today is this Kansas K-66 sign. Made to the exact standards as used from 1985 to the present along this historic highway. US-66 was decommissioned from the national system in 1985, to become state routes in the various states it passed through. This variant of the Kansas sunflower shield uses the shorter, wider Series D numerals that KDOT seemed to have used interchangeably with the taller, narrower Series C numbers along this highway. An original of these is most likely to be found in active service along K-66. The authorities know where they are supposed to be-on their posts, not in the trunk of your car. So here’s your chance to get your hands on a fantastic display piece… Without chancing legal trouble. The sign is 12 by 12 inches, and weighs 3 lb. Nevada US Route 666 route marker. Up for sale today is this Nevada US Route 666 sign. Made to the exact standards as used between 1928 and 1939 along the highways of Nevada. US Route 666 never entered Nevada; when it existed, it passed through the Four Corners region much further east. Southern Nevada was served by US 466 instead. However, Las Vegas’s reputation as “Sin City” makes it tempting to tweak the number to something a bit more apropos. So here’s your chance to get your hands on a fantastic display piece… Without tampering with the national highway numbering system. The sign is 16 by 15 inches, and weighs 4 lb. This sign style was the among first ever US route markers ever posted in Nevada, as the highway department alternated between the porcelain and the embossed styles up to about 1939 or so. Only the porcelain signs got the distinct state-outline logo. In keeping with the theme of the sign, the logo on this one instead reads “Sin City, Las Vegas, Nevada”. The lettering is that used on the famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign, which you can find in my other listings. I also have a red-on-black version available for an even more devilish appearance, which can be seen in the design preview images. Please specify in your order notes if you would prefer this version! We will produce the usual black-on-white color scheme otherwise. This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Please do see my other auctions for quality Nevada state and Interstate route markers! Would you like a number not seen here? Or perhaps a different style?
