A Miriam Haskell 3 piece set made of Mother of Pearl. The actual Pearlized Sheels are adorned with lots of chains, metals and crystals and rhinestones. The necklace falls 8 inches from clasp to the bottom of the Shell Pendant2.50 across. The 2 groups of 6 strand chains are 6 inches long. This necklace is obviously for a petite or slim neck. The earrings are clip on and very very well connected, with a large, strong plate for the clips. They are well made and stable. But, they are a valuable and beautiful item that I would store and handle with care. Each earring measures 1.50 long and wide. The Brooch is the “SHOWSTOPPER” here. It is undescribably beautiful. 2 MOP Shells heavily adorned with crystals, rhinestones, and metal. Please scroll to the picture that shows it’s underside. There are strong heavy filigree plates under each shell that are connected to it’s long, sufficient “PIN” that measures the entire length of the brooch. A strong heavy brass with the Miriam Hassell engraved signature stamp that is also engraved on the necklace clasp. Speaking of the clasp, it is adorned with crystals in a circle around the top. It was hard from the picture to see them sparkle, but they are intact. The only thng I would take from this set it that “one” of the earrings need cleaning around the clip. Unfortunately, I do not have any brass cleaner, and I won’t take the chance and use any other cleaner when the metal is brass. I don’t normally sell Haskell jewelry, but this one “kind of” fell into my possession. I did however go right into research and discovered the history and how rare and sought out this jewelry is. I normally need the room in there for my own personal jewelry and important papers. Postal Service, which in my opinion is the only carrier that actually deliver the parcel to the named recipient and get a legitimate signature.
