SPECTACULAR WINCHESTER LITHOGRAPH ADVERTISING SIGN. The actual artwork for this sign was designed and painted by one of 19th Centurys most famous still-life artist Alexander Pope. Pope was famous for his paintings and did spectacular hunting and game scenes. Some of the originals have brought in excess of half million dollars. This advertising sign depicts a Winchester carbine and pump shotgun with mounted moose antlers and 3 hanging dead mallards and 2 powder horns. At the base of the sign We Recommend And Sell Winchester Cartridges And Guns. A very rare desirable Winchester ad. SIZE: 30 w x 36 t. CONDITION: Minor scratches and small surface rust spots scattered on the surface of the sign. This a original not a reproduction! I have had several lifetime Winchester collectors inspect this and neither had ever seen one this nice it is not perfect it is used but extremely rare. Here is a great piece that you do not see everyday. On the front of the sign there is the iconic orange square box, with the wording Drink, Sun Crest. There is the graphic of a bottle of orange soda pop on the right side. In the lower left corner of the sign there is the smaller fine print wording of MCA 457 – Made in USA. Here is a great sign that you do not see around often, the sign has some paint ware, light surface rust, and an enlarged nail hole in the center upper edge of the sign. The piece measures 30 inches wide and 12 inches tall. ORIGINAL MISSOURI ROUTE 66 HIGHWAY 66 METAL ROAD SIGN 24 VINTAGE RARE. This is a rare and unsual sign. I’ve only seen a few of them. The sign is made of aluminum and has the outline of the state of missouri. It has a reflective finish. There is some fading and damage to the finish due to it’s age. It measures 24″ in width by 24″ in height. It shows were it was mounted on a post. A really neat old sign. Not a common sign to find. Bottom half is a menu board and it has great embossed graphics of an airplane and the Lift bottle. The sign measures 12 inches wide and 16.5 inches high. The sign is in pretty nice condition with some minor paint ware and rust and some discoloration, mostly near the edges. I do have a white inventory sticker on the sign in the upper right of the menu board area.
