SPECTACULAR WINCHESTER LITHOGRAPH ADVERTISING SIGN. The actual artwork for this sign was designed and painted by one of 19th Centurys most famous still-life artist Alexander Pope. Pope was famous for his paintings and did spectacular hunting and game scenes. Some of the originals have brought in excess of half million dollars. This advertising sign depicts a Winchester carbine and pump shotgun with mounted moose antlers and 3 hanging dead mallards and 2 powder horns. CONDITION: Minor scratches and small surface rust spots scattered on the surface of the sign. This a original not a reproduction! I have had several lifetime Winchester collectors inspect this and neither had ever seen one this nice it is not perfect it is used but extremely rare.
