Here is a great piece that you do not see often, as this is a very early version of the sign, and a heavy gauge metal. I have decided to sell it along with a few other pieces I have collected. On the front of the sign there is the large advertising wording, with the smaller below. Here is a great sign that you do not come across everyday, the sign has some paint ware, and a few spots of light rust and a few small bends, but as seen in the photos below, the sign is ready to be added to the collection. This great piece measure 26 inches tall and 60 inches wide. After hundreds of painstaking experiments, McLaughlin achieved the perfect formula for his Canada Dry Pale Ginger Ale in 1904…… In the early days, corner drug stores were the predominant outlets for the carbonated beverage industry, McLaughlin changed all that by developing mass bottling techniques and serving Canada Dry where people gather in masses, such as ballparks and beaches….. In fact, Canada Dry pioneered many of the products and practices now considered standards throughout the beverage industry…… The pleasant qualities of ginger ale made it the perfect mixer to mask the taste of home brew during Prohibition…… For Canada Dry, the Roaring’20s roared with success, Even the high price of 35 cents didn’t hinder the progress of sales…. This neat, old sign is a rare piece of advertising from the 1950’s…… It was made in the U. A and manufactured by the M. A (Massillon-Cleveland-Akron) Sign Company….. The MCA Sign company was founded around the early 1900’s in Ohio and manufactured advertising for such companies as Coca-Cola, Miller Brewing Company, Pixar, Mobil, Shell, Amoco, Texaco, Sohio, and others for several decades…… This piece is embossed metal and it measures 26 1/4″ by 22 3/8″….. The advertising on this one is awesome folks….. The colors are bright and there’s only some minor wear, mainly around the edges…. T his is an original vintage 1970’s 96 inch by 48 inch Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer metal sign. By the way it looks, I don’t think it was displayed outside very long since the paper tags are still on the back. It is in good condition with a little wear and a few light scratches. Condition wise, its really good, some corrosion in places, it is made from thick metal steel and wood and is Hand Painted, measures is 3 ft 2 inches long and. 16.5 inches high, has 4 mounting hooks on rear to hang, unsure if this was displayed in or outside the store. IT HAS THE MAKER’S MARK CLEARLY IN THE LOWER LEFT HAND CORNER “M-C-A 9 49″ AND ALSO SHOWS PROPERTY OF GOODYEAR TIRE AND RUBBER COMPANY INC. THERE IS A SMALL DOT ON THE BOTTOM OF THE “S” ON THE WORD SERVICE AS SEEN IN PHOTOS. SIGN MEASURES 36 BY 36 INCHES. VERY BRIGHT COLORS AND FAIRLY HEAVY. Vintage 1960’s Original Firestone Tires Gas Station Oil Metal Sign GREAT Cond

This is a great looking Firestone bowtie sign from the 1960’s. You will be hard pressed to find this sign in nicer shape. It is a called a bowtie sign because the shape of the sign resembles a bowtie. The sign has very little rust which makes for a nice original patina.
