The sign is made to the 1910s specification used by the city to designate this famous street in the heart of Manhattan, New York. This is the last style of porcelain sign before retroreflective signage, unfortunately no longer in the distinct “humpback” shape any longer, was introduced in 1950s. Take this opportunity to show your love for New York and own a piece of roadside history all in one! I can, of course, make a sign like this for any pair of streets, anywhere in the Big Apple! I can make the correct sign for any other city too! An original of these is very rare to find scrapped; they have long since been retired from service. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without the need of a time machine. The sign is flat printed on one side, on heavy steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts.
