Fresh up with 7up vintage metal sign 1940s 1950s

Fresh up with 7up vintage metal sign 1940s 1950s. This sign came off an old screen door found in the attic of a bar. Prior to 1945 the bar was a corner grocery store and I’m guessing this was the outside front screen door and this sign was used for a kickplate. The reverse side had the same sign but it was beaten to scrap from the years of kicking the door open. It is in very good condition. There is some discoloration as shown on the bottom left where someone attempted to clean the sign. The color under the’clean’ spot is closer to the original color but the overall patina presents nicely. Measurements are approx 30″ x 12″. Please ask any questions. Antique Vintage RARE SECURITY MILLS FEEDS metal SIGN Knoxville TN Tennessee

This sign was a road sign. It is metal only not porcelain and it is a flexible gauge of metal (it wobbles and bends). Road signs were double sided. This sign was in a barn and the better display side was against the wood. I have had this thinner tin like metal sign for around 15 years or so. I haven’t found anything like it and the history behind it as a company that was is in downtown Knoxville Tenn is interesting. The company closed operations in 1976 – I believe. Look closely at the photos. I don’t know how many – if any of these “Feeds” signs are still out there. I haven’t seen any while searching. Great item for a Knoxville business or for historical buffs. Vintage old original Hires Rootbeer Soda Pop Metal Sign 28X10

Here is a great piece that you do not see everyday. The top of the sign has the wording of Enjoy Hires Root Beer. The center lower section has the graphic of a bottle, with the wording of Healthful Delicious. In the lower right corner of the sign there is the small fine print wording of Printed in USA. Here is a nice sign to add to the collection, the sign has some paint ware, discoloration, Bends, extra nail holes, and a crease below the Hires wording, overall still a nice sign for display.. The piece measures 9.5 inches wide and 27.5 inches tall. I do have a white inventory sticker on the piece in the upper right corner. Has some yellowing on the face, and some paint wear/rust. Thermometer is accurate and working, appears to be original. No major dents on the face, there is some bending on the edges.
