Vintage metal sign, CLINTON ENGINES, embossed picturing a large arrowhead, in n-mint unused new old stock condition. Very nice sign, guaranteed to be an original. Size is 17 3/4″ x 23 3/4″. Pictures show the front and back. All of the items I sell are guaranteed to be 100% authentic and original. They are all clean and ready for display. I offer the best condition items I have available and price them as low as possible. Just because I list an item for much less than its true value does not mean that it is of inferior quality. I give a fair and honest description of an items condition using the following scale: Mint — Near Mint — Excellent — Very Good — Good — Fair — Poor, with some ++’s when I feel an item falls in between. My items are kept in a smoke and pet free climate-controlled environment. Due to the nature of Vintage items, there may be the occasional age related odor that is beyond my control. Over the coming years I will be listing thousands of items in all my store categories. Many of these will be out of my personal collections. I will continue to sell soda bottle caps, bread wrappers, soda labels, soda pop bottles, milk caps, milk bottles, matchbook covers, magazine ads, etc. Along with a great variety of ephemera in most every advertising category. This guide sign was posted on State Route 138, just north of the junction with State Route 18, and very close to Skyland. The original of this guide sign, complete with the logo of the Automobile Club of Southern California, would cost many thousands of dollars-if it even survives! Only historic photos of it are known. This is a faithful remake for your convenience, to 21×14 inches instead of the original size of 36×24. It is flat printed on heavy steel with the correct layout, fonts and colors. It weighs about 7 lb. This is a high quality, heavy steel replica sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. The sign features both the Auto Club of Southern California logo as well as the beehive symbol of the state of Utah.
