Geometric sculpture c1970’s. Modernist, abstract piece, welded wire and triangles, signed under base “JH”. According to estate of origin the artist is Julie Harris, a former student of Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hills, MI. A similar piece by same artist shown in last photo is available, listed separately. In very good original condition. Oxidation and patina to surface consistent with age. No broken or loose welds. Curtis JERE Windswept Brass Sculpture On Marble Base Signed Brutalist Vintage

Jere brass sculpture entitled Windswept, and dated 1987. You will notice a groove in the marble base where the sculpture sits. You will also notice some light, stable corrosion. I have not tried to shine or polish the sculpture at all, though there is minor evidence of previous cleaning. It stands about 32 tall by 7 wide by 19 across. Vintage Mid Century Modern Brutalist Nail Starburst Wall Sculpture Schmidt Era

Large welded nail brutalist wall sculpture c1970’s. Layered spokes of nails welded in brass creates a spiral sunburst. Hangs from a single loop on back with two lower supports for a cool dimensional presence. Very similar to works by Ron Schmidt. Dia 29 In overall very good vintage condition, no breaks or bends. Surface oxidation and patina shown in photos gives this example great vintage character.
