Very nice unrestored 100% original South Sudan license plate. 14 x 7 inches; black legend on white background. Completely straight and flat with excellent original paint as seen in the photos. Fresh out of the barn! From Juba state (the capital region) – this is possibly the only license plate on earth with a depiction of a rhinoceros: the extremely rare, likely extinct northern white rhino that is native to South Sudan. Note that this plate type was issued and then recalled after about six months due to ethnic strife – the region-coded plates (in this case the JB and rhino) were causing people to be identified and targeted for violence. More recent South Sudan plates than this series lack the region coding. Plates guaranteed old, authentic, and – if applicable – compliant with YOM regulations of the state of their issue.
