Antique Vintage Rare Curved Ruby Glass EXIT Sign in Metal Frame

Curved Ruby Glass EXIT Sign in Metal Frame. Internet searches turn up nothing like this! 6 high letters in near-perfect condition. No chips or cracks noted. Frame is metal and may be brass… But I’m not sure of this. Frame looks to be painted silver on reverse. KOPP stamped on top of glass. Inside of glass is frosted? Frame measures 11 1/2″ x 10 1/2″. Frame opening for glass is 8 1/2″ x 7 1/2″. Glass curves out from base about 1 1/2. Beautiful piece, but will need some light cleaning. Measurements: 3 ft long & 1 ft tall & 4 in wide. I took this unit apart, cleaned it and reversed the sailboat scene (better condition). There is a 25 watt fluorescent bulb used. It is well constructed by Lakeside Plastics of Minneapolis & Chicago. The housing is a relatively heavy gauge sheet metal and has 3 2.5 diameter ports partially open to allow heat to escape. 3 ports were left closed. There are scratches on the bubble and upper left corner of frame is marred. The upper left corner of sailboat scene has a crease in it. There is a wire in back to hang this to the wall. Original 1980s Gulf Service station Lighted Sign. Works great and looks amazing at night. The sign is about 21 Diameter. The sign has Kolux Polycarb 1987. Overall this sign is in great condition for being 30 years old. Plastic is in nice shape with very minor wear. Metal ring and body are nice with very limited paint loss. Please see pictures for exact condition. Power cord is 5ft long and it has a chain to hang it up. NOS Vintage GULF OIL GAS SIGN LIGHT Metal Frame

This is a beautiful NOS GULF LIGHTED SIGN MEASURING 21.5 inches across. It was never displayed or powered and has been kept indoors. There is no yellowing of the plastic. I did notice some minor scuffing that can be seen in the last two photos. This light is as perfect as they come.
